the herbery

this is random. i haul my herb garden indoors for the winter months (they are all in pots) and after a while i noticed little white specs on my thyme... aphids! yuck, all over the place. i did a little digging and i have come up with the easiest solution one could ask for... garlic. yeah, garlic, the only item i know of that if you leave it in a glass of water overnight, you will awake to find roots and stalks, it just grows that fast. anyway, planting a few cloves of garlic in the soil with any aphid infested plant is a natural deterrent, and it works well!! you're welcome
